I was tasked to create a new look for the stadium and background for the Overwatch summer seasonal event Lúcioball.

To contrast with the already existing stadium in Rio de Janeiro, this one would be during night time and feature a futuristic version of Sydney's Harbour.
I didn't wan't the new backdrop to just be a different theme, it needed to also serve the gameplay and player orientation, specially in an arena where you do a lot of 180° turns. So one side of the stadium features Sydney Opera House and the other side the Harbour Bridge. Essentially making all 4 corners of this arena look distinct.

I worked on background, lighting, effects, materials and the ball asset.
